I am having my website multilingual via the plugin polylang.
Everything seems to work fine, except when I click on related products pushed by the component on the detail product page.
Language option is at the bottom left (footer position)
Steps:
1- on whatever language, click on the main menu (hamburger icon)
2- click on the menu item to reach the shop ("Hobbah's tote bags" in english)
3- click on one product to view the details.
4- a bit below on the right side of the screen, there is a "related product" component. Click on one of the product.
Result expected: see the product with the current language.
Current result: it switch to another language.
After some investigation, seems like the related product component do not select products base on the current language. It seems to push all products, which gives duplicates (one in english and another one in french)
We are not overwriting the related products template so from my point of view, Polylang plugin is responable to get the correct version of the related products (get the products in the correct language), since it is a matter of compatibility with WooCommerce plugin. Is it possible to open a ticket or to raise this question on Polylang team?

I see your point, but Polylang just push the presented content. So if we present a URL, it will just push the content related to the URL. And the related products template seems to just pull products no matter the language. Check the screenshot I attached. There are two similar products and when i check the urls, one is for the english and the other one for the french version.
I totally understand what the problem is, but the theme itself does not handle the related products template and we are not event call the display of related products. It is automatically showed by WooCommerce based on their standard template. That is why I cannot do much in this direction, in terms of changing the theme code. If you consider there is something I should do, please let me know.
