If you are talking about an album or a single release, you can add it as an usual album, but with a cut version of your song. And you can use a special album cover, containing "coming soon" on it. Also, you can create a temporarily slide to tease that album.

No, what I suggested was to ext end your existing slider with a new slide, or to create a new slider with Slider Revolution and assign it to your front page, for the period you want to promote your new album. Then you can remove or replace it.

Also Is there no way setup preorders?

As I know, there are dedicated plugins for this, unfortunately I am not sure if they are free.

A short solution, would be to add interested customers to an e-mailing list, using our MailChimp subscription form. And when the album is available, to send a mail to all the visitors subscribed to that list.
