On the homepage just above the footer the images are all distorted and stretched. I did not add any CSS to make this happen and am unsure what the issue is.

Can you please send me credentials for your WordPress? I want to take a look on the element settings.

    Hi,

I made a short test on my dev location and the gallery looks correct:

On the other hand, on your website, in WPBakery front end editor, the gallery also looks fine:

I can only assume that the theme basic functionality is overwritten by one of your existing plugins. You can make a short test by deactivating all the plugins that are not part of the theme code, clear the cache then test again. If it is working, then you can find which plugin is causing the problem by activating them one by one.

From my point of view is 100% a matter of the existing setup and I can only assume that something is overwriting the theme standard functionality for justified gallery.

Please let me know about the results of your tests.

    Kind Regards,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

I narrowed it down to an image compression plugin called "Smush" Not sure why that would be affecting it but that's the culprit. Any thing I can do to continue using that plugin and keep images small? Or is there an alternative you can suggest?

Thanks for your time as always!

    Hi,

From my point of view Smush should not affect the image proportion, but if you are sure that this is the reason, you can deactivate it, and from time to time activate it and compress the images you uploaded in the time when the plugin was not active.

    Kind Regards,
    Alex

Totally, not sure why that's affecting the image proportions. I'll play with it a bit and let you know if I figure it out.

Figured it out, it was a plugin that was compressing the images that was causing the issue

Can you tell what was that plugin? Is good to know if other user is facing the same problem.

    Alex
