If you are talking about the footer widgets area, at this moment there are four columns. But if you offer more details about what you want to achieve, I can offer you more details. Maybe it can only be done from the footer area, without using the footer widgets area.

Is it possible to have footer as only one collum and not 4? We would like to only centred colum in the footer.
